First day of SIP:
-attend a talk by mdm lau
-briefing by our supervisor miss cheong, telling us wads abt our SIP
-go cyber centre do some research
overall...a nice and relaxing day

2nd day:
-attend a food safety talk by Mr....? *dunno his name
-he laughed at his own "jokes", which he thinks its funny. -_-
-after talk, went to prepare peptone water
-we gt the preparation correct until our 2nd attempt
-u see...learn frm ur mistakes! from all the mistakes made, U LEARN!
only realised our mistake when masagoes said "how come ur peptone water is yellowish..? seems so diluted"..LOLX!
ya..indeed its colourless..we calculated the wrong formulation!
but. thanks to miss cheong...she's damn nice! saying its ok to make mistakes!
btw..we prepared 6500ml of peptone water!
so..in total we prepared 20 bottles of 225ml of peptone water and 200+ dilutions tubes of peptone water!
can u imagine how many times of pipetting we had done!!! =)

oh, we learn autoclaving too!
its nt wad Mr Tan said..all u need is to press a button.
LOLX!
nt tt easy!..lolx..u stil need some steps and procedures =)

3rd day:
- prepare 2L of lauryl sulphate tryptose broth(LTB)
-pipette it into 220++ test tubes..
after this 2 days of pipetting..i am confident to say..
"challenge me! see whos beter at pipetting!"..wahahaha!

i broke 1 test tube and 1 durum tube today! due to my clumsiness!
but nice miss cheong say.."nvm, jus throw away"...

mr loh gin hin came back frm his honeymoon! lOLX!
he treated us to a drink at mensa
*surprisely!
have a meeting wif him to discuss wad are we suppose to do during our SIP
*sounds interesting!

btw..we are doing project wif a satay company and a bakery company
*its confidential! =)

tml...a whole day of research...hopefully...haha!
shhh!..cant reveal anything =)
